Foundational Faith Truths

Before Bro. Doug Jones taught, Sis. Angel led the congregation in worship. It's a rare treat to have both of them with us at the same time. What a blessing!

Bro. Doug Jones held three intense meetings at Zoe Christian Fellowship from December 6-8, 2008. He defined the different types of faith, how faith comes, and how to act upon your faith.

We've all heard the Scripture Romans 10:17 (KJV): "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Not knowing what God says about a given subject will hinder the development of faith in that area. Yet, merely knowing the Scripture is only one part of the process. What good is forming beliefs if we don't know what to do with them? How do we translate them from theory to an active part of our lives?

If you'd like to hear the actual teachings, check out the sermon player on the website. Free MP3 downloads are also available for your convenience.

After the services, everyone enjoyed a time of fellowship. Here's Angel hobnobbing with several of us.

Bro. Doug enjoyed mingling with the congregation and catching up on old times.

Thanks Bro. Doug and Sis. Angel for a refreshing time in the Lord!

Rev. Doug Jones - Meetings at Zoe Christian Fellowship

Whether you're dealing with illness, have questions, or need some spiritual refreshment, don't miss the opportunity to hear some dynamic teaching from God's Word. Rev. Doug Jones, a teacher at Rhema Bible Training Center, also conducts a daily "Healing School" session as an outreach to the physically ill.

One thing that struck me while reading Rev. Jones' story was his faithfulness in the small tasks. Rather than a shooting star, he's made slow and steady progress in the ministry. Early on, he determined not to simply regurgitate what others taught, but to study the Scriptures for himself.

We hope you'll join us for a time of praise, worship, and the Word at Zoe Christian Fellowship, 1111 Easton Road, Warrington, PA. Meeting dates and times are:
