On Wednesday, 8/31/16, at 7:30 PM, Pastor Steve will minister the fourth part of a mini-series on sin.We're taking a look at how we are to relate to those caught up in habitual sins. If you missed the first three installments, they are posted online and available for podcasting.

On Sunday, 9/4/16, at 10:00 AM, we'll gather for our Sunday Morning Service. Angel Garrett Carlos will be leading worship. Children's Church will also start at 10:00 AM.

Sunday Morning Series - Hear, Test, Believe - Thought Police

Blog Administrator's Note:  The Zoe blog is back! In case you were wondering what happened, I broke my wrist. Praise God, He's faithful. I didn't need surgery, and I'm doing well. Thanks to all who prayed.

Text: Luke 9:46-50

Your heart is the most important thing, but your mind is the gateway to your heart. Therefore, what you think greatly impacts your life. What is God's prime directive concerning our thoughts?

Philippians 4:8 - "Be anxious for nothing..."
Proverbs 17:22 - "A merry heart doeth good like medicine..."
Romans 12:1-2 - "Present your bodies a living sacrifice..."
Hebrews 13:5-6 - "No covetousness..."

So, these are the thoughts we should have:

1.  Good thoughts
2.  Merry thoughts
3.  Transformed thoughts (thoughts based on the Word rather than on the world's thinking)
4.  Contented thoughts

What are God's thoughts toward you?
