Changing direction doesn't come easily. If we want something different from what we have, we have to do something different.

What needs to change?

1)  Our expectations

     If you were healed, are you expecting the problem to come back? Are you expecting something bad to happen? Often we'll hear people say things like: "The flu is going around. I'm sure I'll get it."

2)  Our Thoughts

     Scripture tells us to think on those things that are lovely, of good report, etc. Instead, many people imagine all sorts of bad things happening to them.

3)  Our Conversation

     The first two will help you with this one, which is the toughest. We need to say what God says about the matter. When the doctor says, "You're going to die," you don't have to change his mind. Neither do you have to engage him in conversation and come into agreement with him.

      Don't be afraid to declare how blessed you are to unbelievers or religious folks.

How did Abraham Change?

In Genesis 12:1-7 - God is building Abraham's expectations. He tells Abraham that his descendants will be as the dust of the earth. He paints a picture that Abraham can hold in his mind.

I've been listening to the messages from last weekend. One thing that struck me was we need to add more -ed's to our speech. We know we're saved, but do we know we're healed? We're also delivered. Bro. Jay Hoskins pointed out many places where the scripture spoke of these things as past tense - done!

On the cross, Jesus declared, "It is finished!" Let's start saying what He says, not only about our salvation, but also that we're healed and delivered.

The Remarkable Power of Our God

Many people get healed at special meeting like we enjoyed last weekend, but then they get a pain and think they're not healed. How do we receive and KEEP our healing?

For many years, I suffered with back problems. The Lord healed me last weekend, and all the pain left. Don't you know, the pain returned during the week. It's hard to stand in faith when you hurt. I remembered Jay Hoskins' instructions, and worshiped the Lord, quoted healing scriptures, and went about my business. Before long, I noticed the pain was gone.

What happens when you're no longer surrounded by faith? The enemy comes along and starts whispering doubts and unbelief in your mind. Stay faith filled, and refuse to accept his lies.
