Sunday Morning Series - Is Faith Past, Present, or Future - "Knowing"

Text:  Mark 6:30-44

Jesus and the disciples received the news of John the Baptist's beheading. That incident combined with a great deal of ministry made them tired. Jesus decided the disciples need some rest and took them to a deserted place.

Many people figured out what they were doing and where they were going. They ran and got there before Jesus and the disciples. The people were more attracted to the miracles than the teaching, which they needed to strengthen them.

Here they were in a deserted area with no provisions. Jesus commands the disciples to give the people something to eat. They looked at what they had and voiced their concerns about their inability to do so. Whenever Jesus told them to do something, He empowered them to do it.

How many times do you inform God of what you need? How about seeing the problems with what He asks of you?

If you're visiting in the area during this holiday season or looking for a church home, we invite you to our Sunday Morning Service at 10:00 AM. This week the children will be worshipping with their parents. (This is done every six weeks.) Other weeks, we have Super Church for Kids, where they're taught pinciples of God's Word on their level.

Zoe Christian Fellowship is located at 1111 Easton Rd. (Route 611), in Warrington, PA. We look forward to meeting you. Happy Thanksgiving!
