The Light in Us
We've received mercy, and we're told to not lose heart. You just need to keep going. Whatever you do, don't quit. The light referred to in this scripture shines in our hearts (internal) not externally like on our face of skin.
We have a light or illumination on the inside of us. Often we acknowledge our ignorance instead of His light in us. You can see stuff others will miss. Don't speak about being perplexed. Speak about the wisdom of God that's coming.
We're earthen vessels, but within us we have a treasure (2 Corinthians 4:7-15). We're hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed. We are perplexed but not in despair. According to 2 Corinthians 4:13, we have the same spirit of faith as Paul.
All things are for your sakes - Every detail works to your advantage and to God's glory: more and more grace, more and more people, more and more praise! (The Message) They are not sent by God, but they can be used by God through y our faith for your advantage.
