A. I heard it somewhere, and I believe it. I then repeat it without checking it out.
B. For example, in John 9:1-40 - we have the story of the blind man, who was healed by Jesus. Someone asked Jesus who sinned - the man or his parents. People read the answer, and it seems to say the man was blind so that God could be glorified. However, they do not take into account that punctuation was not part of the original manuscripts. The translators added the punctuation. A comma in the wrong place can change the meaning of a sentence.
Jesus replied that neither the man nor his parents sinned. He heals the man so God will be glorified.
