Sunday Morning Series - Steady or Stubborn - When Kingdoms Collide
Text: Acts 4
Is our boldness motivated by what the Kingdom of God will gain or by what we may lose?
The Word of God teaches about two...
1) Kingdoms (Luke 11:18)
2) fathers (John 8:44)
3) gods (II Corinth. 4:4
There are many ways to determine which one you are of, but the one we look at today is BOLDNESS. Christians are not the only ones who are bold.
What motivates boldness for God?
1) The love of God.
2) The love of His Word.
3) The love of others.
These are given in their proper order. If we get the love of others above the love of God, our priorities are wrong.
What motivates boldness for Satan?
1) Love of self
a) Galatians 5:19-24
b) Philippians 1:12-17
c) Philippians 2:1-4
2) Love of my rights.
3) Love of others who agree with me.
